Im curious if it will be entirely on rails and scripted like the original game or if there might be some freedom and randomness of events, especially since so many players can share images easily with each other now

They're really going with "New Pokemon Snap"? I know using English words like that is trendy in Japan and all, but you'd think they would have learned from the reception to the New 3DS.

I feel like, one of the points of Pokemon Snap was to experience Pokemon with good graphics because the main series games was handheld with sprites, but now, the main series games are on console but still look like crap, and somehow Snap is supposed to alleviate that, but they're on the same console.
