I have pretty thick skin but the thing that REALLY bothered me was back in like 2008-2009 when there were these videos trending of these attractive women in high heels stepping on the heads of cats until their heads exploded.

Honestly I am still kinda traumatized from that even though I was 14-15 years old at the time.

Some website on the dark web about someone who goes around and kills people for experiments. It kind of bothers me because on the dark web, it's not traceable. I've never ventured into the dark web, but it just mentally bothers me a lot.

As far as actual visuals? I don't think I've seen anything that's disturbed me that much to being said. Maybe visuals from that Human Centipede movie, but even then, I am sure that's tame compared to everything else that's possible to see on the internet.

One of the earliest beheading videos was sent to me by a classmates back in '99.

A few years ago on a site I used to frequent a bunch of child pornography turned up on the front page, pulled the plug on my router for a few days after that and was terrified authorities would contact and pin it on me.

Last year someone made a topic about a guy who live streamed his shotgun suicide. Out of morbid curiosity I looked it up and watched it. I'd seen pictures before of the aftermath of shotgun suicide, but that was my first time seeing a video.

Seeing it happen in a video is way different. Even remembering it now still disturbs me quite a bit.

It's redirected to Gorgon Video these days. Back then it was a load of pics and videos of dead and murdered people.
One of the more vivid ones was the aftermath of someone who killed themselves by cutting them selves in half on a band saw.

Jesus christ, you had to start off with the one thing that I absolutely can't deal with, that mental imagery alone is scarring. I've seen gore videos with people and those are pretty unpleasant but doesn't affect me in the same way as animals, specially cats.

I've seen a lot of the shock sites and stuff, but there are only two videos I've seen that actually made me feel uncomfortable. One was the infamous "dickchop", the other was actual footage of the Nagasaki nuking.

I've only seen still images from one of those videos. That was close to 14 years ago and this topic actually made me realize how often my thoughts drift back to those images.

There was an episode about a guy that wanted to eat someone. He got online and found someone on a forum that wanted to be eaten. I got somewhat ill just listening to the story when it turned to them cooking and consuming the one man's genitalia.

It's the story of Armin Meiwes, it was the inspiration for Rammstein's "Mein Teil". IIRC he got 7 years in jail for it. He put an ad in the paper asking for a young fit man between a certain age range who would be willing to be eaten, and someone responded.

I've seen some things, but there is only one that really sticks with me.

It was a webm of some surveillance footage in China. Looked like an intersection at a little shopping area. A mother has her baby in a stroller and steps away for just a few seconds to look at something. The stroller rolls back and falls into the intersection and is run over by a dump truck. The driver just kept going. The mother turns back and sees what happens and just starts to lost it and the video ends there.

Something about it really is kind of haunting to me. It just took a few seconds of looking away.

There is a video of someone going up an escalator and a panel at the top breaks open and the women falls into the machinery.
