There just seems to be a lot of TV or Movies where it's like "We could sneak behind enemy lines, take out their relay network drone, reverse engineer their security schematics and use it to shut down their own long range missiles!"

And someone goes "No! It's too dangerous!"

And the guy ALWAYS says something like "We have no choice." or just walks off without saying anything like an asshole.

Reminds me of the Simpsons "We can't take that chance" scene.

But at the same time, I'm not sure what the "It's too dangerous!" person is expecting to happen.

Know of any times in TV or movies someone does that and the guy is like "Fair enough let's not do that then."?

I'm sure it's happened. I know Babylon 5 actually did a "Anyone who doesn't want to stand with us can walk away now and no one will judge you." scene where half the room actually walked off. Which I really liked

I know sometimes in Star Trek they'd suggest 2 different plans of action and they'd take the less dangerous one, but that's not the same thing.
