Will they

Or did the turtle already back down from taking a vote tomorrow? google is useless or my googling is useless, much like the chicago bears offense.

Though I would imagine if they don't want him impeached they would vote since google does tell me he can still be impeached after office and the georgia senators should be getting sworn in soonish, though that would still need republican support since impeachment is 2/3 majority.

and to preemptively combat the but why does it matter, he stands to lose

Pensions equal to the annual pay of a cabinet member ($221,400 in 2021).
Starting six months after leaving office, a governmental allowance for an office, staffing and equipment.
Reimbursed travel expenses of up to $1 million annually for the ex-president and up to two staffers; spouses are allowed up to $500,000 for travel.
Lifetime security services provided by the Secret Service.
Health benefits through the governments Federal Employees Health Benefits Program, but only if they had five years of federal employment (Trump, like Jimmy Carter, would not qualify with only four years of civilian service).

so literally your tax dollars, that the gop apparently cares alot about, would be saved.

To be fair, it doesn't matter WHAT their obvious bullshit excuse would be, they'd still blame the left for it.

i believe upholding the constitution is the right thing and restoring faith in american democracy by holding people accountable, including but not limited to, the person who has been falsely claiming an unfair election and then encouraged his supporters to attempt a failed coup.
