This is what they should have done. We have fucking cybernetic body parts. It would even fit in the world.

I want to take this opportunity just to talk about how fucking terrible River Ward's romance plotline is. It's like the developer spent all the time trying to create a fleshed out, nuanced romance for Judy and Panam, then decided to use the mad libs scrapbook for River.

The minimap sorely needs to zoom out when you're driving, it's way too zoomed in to be able to know when you have to turn without it suddenly popping up in front of you

The whole 'follow the arrows on the road' was a thing 14 years earlier in Saints Row!

It's totally baffling that it's a futuristic city and they do absolutely nothing with it in the open world. No fancy navigation tech. You can summon a car to you which implies self-driving cars but the car isn't able to self-pilot with you in it. It's probably not there because driving AI is broken but you can't even fast travel from your car which would also imply it can drive you! There are flying cars that you'll only ever ride in scripted quests.

Watch Dogs Legion traffic in comparison feels way more futuristic even though it's only set in the near future. It has self-driving cars and the windows even signify when there's nobody in them. That's on top of the guided arrows too.

Funnily enough, the crowbat video about cyberpunk made many comparisons showing the original saints row as being more advanced.

It's not, the potential is there, and it has some things to love, but it makes it so goddamn hard and is in an absolutely God awful state, way, way more than just technical issues.

I love how every car has its own modeled interior, very detailed. I also like first person driving even though it's kinda jank. The trick I learned on PC is to just never touch the mouse and it's fine.

There is exactly one car in the entire game that is decent. Everything else controls/handles like ass. The coyote is the good one. It's fast and actually handles alright. Everything else is pointless. It also is the best off road vehicle.

they actually have the "gps sign on the road" if you play the racing questline lol and it's so much better just super dumb they don't use it in the main game

They already had an established engine, lore, universe, characters, world etc all set up, so witcher 3 was just an improvement exercise

Cyberpunk 2 might be good, lol

I'm also not a fan as a male V you can't text River back or anything after his plotline. I think the last message I have from River is something like CE's "pls respond".

There are already mods on PC that do that.

But still, the GPS directions are a mess. You're better off noting the first major road on the map that gets close to the destination, use that while ignoring the GPS, and only consult the GPS when you're <200m away.

I liked Watch Dogs Legion, but haven't felt compelled to go back to it since I beat it. It's flawed in real ways in terms of making the gameplay match the plot, but the mechanics are fun. Haven't played Cyberpunk, no real interest in it.
