I'll grant you that it's a bit early to judge. But I let's also keep in mind that Dems now control both the executive branch and both houses of congress. There aren't a lot of excuses if he doesn't get a lot of shit done, and I for one am not expecting miracles from this guy

I mean, it's literally day 1. All you, and the other poster, are stating is that you don't expect him to get his campaign promises done, which was true long before he took office. It's just your opinion and not a reflection of fact, despite the framing of that post.

Then when Republicans had power for 4 years they gave Dems the finger and did the things they wanted without compromising with Democrats, mot notable all of Trump's policies, ramming in 3 incompetent supreme court justices, confirming judges and people to key points in government nd doing things like refusing to hear any witnesses in Trump's first impeachment trail and immediately voting not to convict him after impeachment made it to their chamber in the senate.

Hell, their whole goal was to make Obama a 1 term president, Mitch even said the proudest he was was screwing Obama out of a supreme court justice pick , Obama even with a democratic controlled government still held off on going crazy because he wanted to work with Republicans, then he lost that majority 2 years later and ever since Republicans completely stone walled so they could feel seats with Republicans and finally, Mitch is on record saying they were gonna do the same thing again if Hillary beat Trump.

Republicans are absolutely nothing but obstructionists who will kneecap Democratic control and blame Democrats for it, get control themselves and pretty much make Democrats useless fixtures and even with that they'll still blame Democrats and yet, it's always the Dems who have to take it, it's always the Dems that have to not only preach unity but practice it, it's like one guy has to fight another guy with one of his legs broken, his hands tied behind his back and his eyes blindfolded while the other guy has brass knuckles, steel toed boots and a protective helmet and if somehow the other guy manages to land a punch on him the ref will immediately flag them for being too aggressive while the other guy whines about how unfair it is that he got punched.
