Mainly because not much happens the moves the overall plot forward until the last few episodes. It's mostly sitting around chilling on the farm or looking for Sophia.

Season 2 was my favorite season because it was one of the more character driven, imo.

They didnt move much, but a lot happens and it ends perfectly imo. Almost everyone had good development too.

Shane became my favorite and remained my favorite the moment he shaved his head.

It works far better as a binge than it does week-to-week. Far too little happens in each episode for it to be satisfying when that's your only episode that week.

This. It was dreadful watching it back in the day, especially as they used that year to start up the split season thing where you had to wait 3 more months before they finally left that damn farm.
