TicketOak 01/28/21 3:59:41 PM #5:	Last Friday I flew a rather difficult mission in a 172 to bring 17 homeless felines to new homes in Colorado from Woodward, OK. The crew at WWR was ready to do a quick-turn refuel and push our C-172 into the hangar for shade cooling. Thanks to the great staff, it worked well to then load 17 cats in reasonable temperatures. But, It was pushing 100 degrees in the shade, and my cockpit was warming towards 90F during loading. But the Techs pulled us out of the hangar as soon as we were loaded. And in minutes I was on a take-off roll heading for cooler cabin temperatures at altitude for the caged cats. The Woodward crew was amazing in their understanding and support of this rather trying mission to get these cats and kittens to Denver without heat shock. I've always had KWWR on my map in past missions, and will go out of my way to fly into Woodward on future rescue missions. Bravo! --- All Hail the Ticket Oak.
