Yeah, the battery sucks, especially for the original model. Depends on the game you're playing, but that sounds reasonable.

Yeah. The battery is not long lasting, even in airplane mode with brightness way down.

The battery sucks, but if you've owned your Switch since launch, it's degraded since. Buy a replacement battery and you should be fine.

One of the selling points on MSI's site for my laptop was the battery lasting 45 minutes, and that's considered portable. And have you ever used the Sega Nomad? It used 6 AA batteries and lasted 2 hours. 3-4 hours for the Switch is good enough for me. --- I'm here! I'm furry! I don't really see this being a huge deal unless you're going on 10 hour flights/other transportation rides all the time. It would be nice if it would last that whole time but I don't usually like to play games that long even if it is the only thing to do.
It's a fair complaint in those cases, but sometimes I see people who just play it around the house complain and I'm like why, you can just stick it back in the dock after each session ... Copied to Clipboard!

Just buy a cheap power bank. Can recharge the battery on the go, hardly takes up any room, and can be used for other devices as well.
