Visions IS alive! Thank god (Wanda)! And All the citizens are real people under a painful spell! But I know it's not Wanda. At least not directly. It's Agnes. Oh my god!

I think he'll be okay, tbh. Wanda won't let him die if she can help it. She can extend this much easier to a single synthezoid than an entire town, I'm sure.

Well, jury is still out on Vision's status. He is resistant to her spells, and was still all corpsified at one point.

I also agree that Agnes probably instigated everything, then Wanda just hijacked everything for herself.

I still think Agnes is the one in control. She's got Wanda under some sort of spell.

This episode was wild and I loved it a ton!

I think both the Sword director and Agnes are suspicious. That poor dog, though. Totally intentional, seemed like she was testing Wanda.

Not even close. Power levels don't equal good characterization. MCU Pietro is much closer to his comic version.

Seriously. Hell hes really the only reason to watch the last few X-Men movies. Well, minus maybe the last one as I havent seen it to judge it. Regardless, its literally the genesis of the Marvel/X-Men cinematic universe crossover so its definitely getting me pumped.

Why's everyone ignoring the children? She can't control them either. They aged up twice against her wishes. And as babies she tried to use her powers to cheat and force them to sleep and it didn't work. And she had to ask them not to age up towards the end because they were sad about the dog dying.

He's entertaining to watch, yeah. But the Pietro from Age of Ultron was way more in line with the comic version and what I prefer. I know MCU fans hand-wave a lot of the source material with the "loosely adapted" argument, but for fans of the comics it's a different feeling.

Right, well, as a comic book fan and collector since the early Eighties I enjoy this version much more than the MCU version, and while Ive had many conversations about the MCU and X-Men universe with my comic loving friends, I have to say I cant recall any of them actually liking the MCU version. In fact, about the only times I remember him being brought up is when we talk about dumbest deaths in the movies.

Not ignoring them, they're likely the key behind the whole thing. It's just someone was pulling the strings to get them there. Their arrival was probably the goal, especially with the "all for the children" chant that was happening without any children in town.

Second episode. Planning the talent show with Dottie, they all chant it several times through out the episode. The show was apparently for the kids, but none even exist in town at all, which is worrisome considering it was a real town beforehand.

They both were at some point. They are Magneto's children and mutants in the comics. Not created from the Mind Stone.

Evan Peters plays the same character of Quicksilver in the X-Men movies. You never see Wanda, but she's supposed to be there too.

Disney and Fox struck a deal where they would use the same character with two different actors in their seperate universes. Now Disney owns it all.

Been a minutes since I saw the movie but I could have sworn it was implied that she was Wanda but because she was still so young (prepubescent) she didnt have powers and no one could have know about it.

i think it was the rogue cut that established the second sister. so, i think the original version might have been written for the younger girl to be Wanda, but at some point they remembered that they were supposed to be twins, so they wrote in a fix.

I don't think the little girl was ever supposed to be Wanda. Wanda was not allowed to be mentioned in the Fox movies per the AoU/DoFP deal.

They just expanded it on in the Rogue Cut. When Wolverine, Professor X and Beast enter their home, the little girl goes up to Wolverine and says she's a princess and he's like "I'm the Wolverine" and then asks her where her brother is and she tells him.

Then the mom tells her to go bug her sister upstairs, so she responds by saying her sister is the one that bugs her.

I think you missed the ending of Far From Home. Everything Mysterio said about the multiverse was made up bullshit. The JJJ at the end was just the JJJ from the MCU.

Interestingly, Far From Home takes place 8 months after the Blip. This takes place about 3 weeks after. A lot of stuff probably happens in that 7 months including the reason for the Fury swap and Fury on some Skrull ship.

I said it was a "tease" because he was lying about it, if he was telling the truth that wouldn't be a tease it would be an established thing in the MCU at that point. How was someone lying about something a tease? It had no relation to whatever we're gonna get. What if some character says he saw Godzilla by the old Avengers tower but was just bullshitting. Is that a tease for Godzilla? Lol.

i think the real tease was "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" title.

I'm not talking about some asshole in a movie lying. I am talking about the concept of the Multiverse in the MCU being mentioned at all, and Godzilla is clearly not an actual comparison for this since I don't see Godzilla roaming around in WandaVision. I watched Spider Man 2, I knew Mysterio was lying while watching the movie as it was revealed how is this hard

Because unlike your ridiculous Godzilla example, a multiverse exists in Marvel. Any time certain terms are used would be a tease.

Nah, I get what you're saying. I was saying that was just a "sike! There's really no multiverse" moment. There was a whole plot that revolved around that. A tease would have been an after credits scene showing that maybe he wasn't lying or some real multiverse thing happening.

Godzilla also existed in Marvel and the only reason he currently doesn't is because of rights.

Yeah, that's why I mentioned the 7 months gap. I was thinking more along the lines of Mysterio hearing about that from someone or something happening in that 7 months for him to bring it up. And now when you put the timelines together, it's super strange that would come up right when real shit is happening.

Once again I watched the movie so....duh. I'm not sure if you realize what a teaser is.

Iron Man 1. Rhodey looks at an Iron Man suit and says "not today" which is a teaser for War Machine. It's a teaser, at that point even before Iron Man 2 was produced, because War Machine is a thing in the comics. The Multiverse being mentioned at all is a teaser because the Multiverse is a thing in the Marvel comics. If the concept of alternate realities wasn't so entwined with time travel in general you could say Endgame was one huge teaser for the Multiverse in the MCU when that movie was released, but it was too vague at that point.

Honestly if you don't get it at this point I did my best to explain it but it's a lost cause
