Ive got about $12-13,000 and thats the most Ive ever had. Im also doing okay, considering the fact that Im an average have-not, and the haves would be very upset if they knew I had somehow squirreled away a few bucks.
Honestly, I should probably just spend it before some entity comes and tries to bully it away from me. Theyve got it figured out so the wages are down and the cost of living is so unfeasible that you really cant save anything. Most people are lucky to get through the month and not be in the red. Fact 1: The cost of living is extremely high right now, you've got that right. Fact 2: It's not impossible to save, just really hard to get to a point where it means anything. Just saying you're out of touch with reality. Someone in their 20s has probably been working full time for 5 years. Lets say they make 40k a year. After taxes, bills, rent, and groceries you really think everyone can easily save 12k a year? Even if you don't spend/waste your money that isn't easy unless you live with someone else and split rent. And don't bring up investment income.
