Yeah, one time there was this guy who was playing something that looked like a guitar, but it made really buzzy and distorted noises. Nobody else seemed to notice though, even the band or sound guys.

saw this shirtless dude jump on stage during a Kendrick Lamar concert only to be politely escorted out of there by some big ass security guard...

Also saw a kid with a wheelchair in a moshpit at a Slipknot show. Pretty much ruined the moshpit because NO ONE was gonna be the guy that knocked over a kid in a wheelchair.

At a System of a Down concert, they opened with Soldier side/BYOB. When they got to the breakdown (BLAST OFF! IT'S PARTY TIME!!!), at least 20 - 25 people RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSHED the floor from the seated area I was in. Security waa so overwhelmed they spent the rest of the concert looking for people without wristbands lol

Yeah I know Ive seen some crazy shit after seven years of Bonnaroos and numerous other festivals but it all just blurs together at this point tbh

cant even come up with one specific example for this topic. Honestly all my best memories from Roo are the amazing performances Ive seen over the years

I went to Roo in 2011 and 2012. Got fucked UP there, both physically and legally.

I was at a rather bad show circa 2005 with Sevendust headlining. This was at I think the Paramount in Seattle, so like 80-90% of the people were in the GA / floor area. A few songs into the first band's set, I'm milling around the back, not digging the first band, and Lemmy Kilmister walks in and sits down. I go talk to him for a bit, he signs the sound garden shirt im wearing, after like 2 minutes I leave him alone. I go to the bathroom, get a beer, blah blah. I come back, friends ask where I was. I say, just as things get quiet I was talking to Lemmy over there. About 50 people rush over there, 2 guys start fighting for some reason, security comes and escorts Lemmy back stage and kicks out the guys fighting.

A dude had a stroke or something, fell down the stairs and died. Sort of distracting when EMS is trying to load up the stretcher and the band is still playing.

Was at a Pantera/Skid Row concert back in 92 and 2 girls on the floor who were right up front on the rail stripped completely naked during "Walk". They were with 2 guys who I assumed were their boyfriends and they didn't seem to care.

Every time I hear that song, I think about that. Unfortunately it wasn't as cool as it sounds, as let's just say they were not very attractive.

When I saw Disturbed 20,000 people started tearing up the lawn and having dirtball fights. Massive hordes of security with riot gear came in and it took David Draiman himself to calm the crowd down before things got violent.

I saw Five Finger Death Punch in Little Rock about 5 years ago and yeah,but it was my fault. I though the concert was over and wanted to be the first out the door to get my knife out of the bushes.

Long story short,they came back out and did another hour. So I was locked out and got cold,so I had to jump to a 2nd floor smoke area to sneak back in. The smokers helped pull me over the railing.

I went to see the Family Values tour in 1998, and the singer from Rammstein during the song Buck Dich was walking around the keyboard player on a dog leash on all fours, then propped him up on a box, unbuttoned the butt flap of his leather gimp suit, pulled out a fake wee wee and started spraying white liquid all over him, and then turned to the crowd and hit the first few rows with it also.

It's not crazy but when I saw Paul McCartney and was next to this person with a wheelchair and a tank - legit the lady was yelling at her caretaker to pick up the tank so she could stand up and I was like 'wow'. Same thing happened when I was at a Beach Boys show lol

But nothing crazy, I haven't really seen anything too wild.. the show that actually surprised me the most was Neil Young actually. I went to see him with a girl back in High School and she gave me acid so we both were like the only ones standing up and getting into the show. Honestly I had listened to his music and KNEW he could play but what I heard was absolutely phenominal - it really sobered me up for like a good 10 minutes from the mess that was that high.. the man is an absolute MONSTER at playing solos

Like I had not heard a solo like that (even to this day) or something that sounds close to the vocabulary of Jimi Hendrix but this thing just sounded like Hendrix right at the height of his career

Went to an Em Esch / Combichrist / Lords of Acid concert, showed up late so I missed Em Esch.

Went to the bar area to get a drink, this lady was drunk or high or something and was talking about how I had pretty eyes, I turned around for one second to talk to the bartender and heard a "clunk", look back and the girl looked even more out of it. So I started to ask if she was OK and this other woman, sober, starts berating me about how I could ask if she's OK because she just hit her head and what the fuck is wrong with me (idk I was just trying to ... you know, be nice, I legit didn't see her hit her head but fuck me I guess).

Then Lords of Acid are performing and after several songs they call for ladies to get up on the stage. Then they start performing this song, "Show me your <p-word>" and all the girls start flashing various body parts and the singer is whipping some of them on stage and stuff. It was ... really unexpected lmao I didn't know much about LOA before going.

I went to Vegoose 2007 music festival in Vegas (it was Daft Punk's last live show I believe) I took a girl I had liked through high school, bought her ticket, drove her out there. I was too shy to even admit my intentions to myself but I was just kind of wishing she would suddenly like me as more than a friend. I wasn't even much of a drinker/smoker/drugger back then. A few sets before Daft Punk she completely disappeared after meeting some emo guy with long hair and eyeliner on. Daft Punk was rad but I was basically by myself sober, she then decided to track me down after the set since you know, I was the one that drove her to the festival. When I caught up to her she was making out with emo guy

ok. There is a trigger warning related to sexual assault/rape in this. I will mark it for spoilers so you dont have to read it.

ok Ill try to summarize

* I arrived there late when it started so there was already zero room to pitch the tent I brought. All the camp grounds were so crowded and they were not draining the port-a-potties enough that by day 1 they caused a massive leak into the camp grounds and by some of the stages.

* it was super hot and dry and they wanted to recreate the mud from 94 that they tried to hose down the areas which caused more harm then good

* saw a girl and guy making out than just started fucking during a mosh pit, alright its Woodstock figured stuff like this would happen, but then some asshole covered in mud jumped in and joined them. Dude literally jumped in and raped her and took off. It was literally minutes. Myself and others asked if she needed help and shit she said no. Its literally one of biggest regrets not realizing what was happening when it did and trying to get help or just do something especially since there were so many accounts of rape that happened that weekend.

* everything that happened on Saturday night with the fires, riots, and looting was all building up from day one. They charged $5 for waters no food was under $10, showers didnt drain, it was a cluster fuck. People were pissed.

* the riots: on Saturday I was at the south stage watching megadeth. The north stage had RHCP. Well during megadeth everyone started to notice flames in the distance. Well they handed out candles for everyone to do a candlelight vigil, well it was summer, it was dry, and they just handed people instruments to cause fires.

• during the riots a group of people broke into where the trucks were parked and they were filled with sleeping bags and stuff. Some boxes were filled with glow sticks and that led to a massive glow stick fight. It was like Braveheart with the arrows, but it was green and red glow sticks flying through the air. It was trippy.
• the 3 days I probably slept 5 hours. I would just find some shade and sit and tried to rest. They had an old airplane ha get for non stop raves that was actually pretty cool and a good place to hide from the sun.
• I still only remember sections of that weekend. I dont do drugs but the aura of the weekend, lack of sleep, proper substance, etc made it feel like was on drugs. I remember watching RATM and minutes later Metallica is playing, its like I blacked out.

Sorry if this is jumbled but its a lot to go in to and a lot of details.
