so just to check, companies should not be forced to hire somebody they don't want to work with. and if this reason is them expressing their personal beliefs, this is a legitimate reason to not work with them?

If part of the job is to represent a public image and that image does not reflect the company, no the company should not be forced to work with them. This is especially true if they are not under contract. Disney fulfilled their contract with her and chose not to bring her back.

Two seasons of playing cara dune? A few small movie roles? I guarantee she didn't make even a fraction of "fuck you money" during her mma career.

As someone else said, stop dancing around the point. There is a substantial difference between the employer having prejudiced views and the employee being fired for not reflecting that prejudice versus what happened to Gina.

I know you are trying to equate these two situations. They are not the same at all.

I said nothing about a "employer having predjudiced views". I asked if my understanding is that the argument is that an employee having different beliefs from the leadership of the company and finding the employees beliefs as problematic is a reasonable justification for terminating or not renewing employment.

saying that my argument is dumb is not a counterargument. I also didn't equate anything. i asked a question: is that a correct understanding of the justification, and if not, can it be clarified.
