Just because some of them have had feathers or protofeathers does not mean that they are not reptiles. Why not call these as 'bloodsucker', 'death mauler', 'jaw biter' or some memorable easy-to-say and spell words I think the only reason the t-rex is popular is because it can be shorterned to t-rex.
