Pyra and Mythra are counted as #79 and #80 separately, even though they're the same fighter, but then Steve and Alex are both counted as #77 together, and Peach and Daisy are both counted as #13 even though they're two separate people on the character select menu.

pyra and mythra won't have the exact same moveset, that'd make the switch mechanic pointless
alex is just a palette swap of steve
daisy is an echo fighter and they don't want to give clones their own numbers but it's true that the differentiation is arbitrary in some cases
