TC if airflow in your case is fucked then you're not going to fix anything without dealing with that first. take out the broken fans, and either replace them or set it up so you've got at least one fan drawing air in from an unobstructed side and one fan blowing it out the back or top. to replace thermal paste on a gpu is kind of a pain in the ass, since it involves removing the whole heat sink/fan assembly. you can probably find a youtube video for your specific card. --- Taarsidath-an halsaam.
