And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. But when people push a narrative that it...somehow is not? It's not a secret, I've been pretty open with it this entire topic.

I think if you're dealing with a beard, then there is a different intent there. It isn't about sexual release, it's a psychological thing. They tell themselves it's how they feel. It isn't 'oh, damn, I need to get my rocks off, let me get on this hot girl/guy.' The person in question is doing it out of obligation. For appearances, to be 'normal', not out of actual desire to be with a girl/guy.

Well, they aren't 100% gay if they're able to have sex with women in a convincing way... Not all of us have the luxury of being able to get it up with a woman and hide in that way. I would never be able to.

And in that way any male is who is able to willingly have sex with another male is not 100% straight. Maybe it's 99% preference for women, but it sure ain't total.

I dunno when these things became so complicated. I feel like if you're a guy and feel like you could have sex with another guy "just to get off" you're at least bi or unsure of your sexuality. Not like we're at a point in time where you'd be blasted for coming out for that, thankfully--and if you are for whatever reason ridiculed for it there's at least a lot of open areas/people/communities for support which is fantastic. Not a fix-all but better than it was even 10~20 years ago.

Speaking as someone who never really had an issue with that, which means I'm probably at least a little ignorant on the subject, I've never been horny enough to consider doing anything sexual with another guy, and I've gone... a long time without sex in one part of my life, and I wasn't depressed or on anything to stunt urges. Even then, I'd say if you aren't gay and had got so horny you'd consider it, you're probably just the sort that has little impulse control regardless of circumstance. I'd say it's more about immediate gratification than even sex at that point.
