i notice alot of gamers complain about the similarities of different games, like they expect a sequel to be completely different from the first game

however in some games like Sonic or Mortal Kombat fans complain about there being too many changes..

A certain trailer peaked my interest on this. I personally believe if it works, it works. I mean look at pokemon, they rebrand everything and people love it
