Its getting to the point where I just don't like checking Facebook anymore. Like, intelligent people who are successes and stuff post the most dumb shit, mostly about stuff like the pandemic. I'm in Texas, so keep that in mind.

Like I can handle differing political opinions, at least the ones that used to be big deals, like how people feel about abortion, drug legalization, whatever. I have the empathy to handle those kinds of different beliefs, I can put myself into their shoes. But when people straight up display that they don't understand how the concept of masks work, its just disappointing, you know?

I also love having to scroll past 2-5 ads to see anything from friends and family. I barely use Facebook any more, and I don't really post there anymore.

Yeah. Had to close facebook a year ago. It was a good decision for me, definitely less annoyed on average than when I saw dumb stuff on FB from people I've known for a while
