What's your favorite spicy flavoring?

Sichuan pepper. I like the weird unique tingly sensation that comes with the spice, it adds a whole a layer to the experience. Especially if you're at a good Sichuan restaurant that has some mung bean soup to go with it. It's one of the coolest culinary sensations I've felt.

I like ginger and wasabi/horseradish. Theyve got a strong bite but it doesnt linger the way other spicy stuff can

I mean, eat a raw garlic bulb, you're going to feel something all up in your sinuses. We label that as "spicy".
Whether or not it's a lot, is up to you, but it still has that flavor profile.
