Seriously, wtf. That shit is gonna get wrecked within a few weeks.

Edit: for their kindergarten kid, no less.

All I'm saying is, if the kid has it stolen that's on the parents.

Please don't steal it from the kid.

How much does a DnG school bag cost?

When I was in Japan I saw commercials for elementary school book bags that were more expensive than a game console >_>

Some people who grew up poor want their kids to have nice things, even if it's beyond their means.

Designer bags seem superfluous to me in any context but I would consider myself frugal.

Thank goodness DnG stands for "Dolce & Gabbana" and not "Dick & Gonads" like I originally thought.

Bruh until I actually read the post by tc saying what dng was I straight up thought we were talking about D&D and I was like so? Who cares? A kindergartener is too young to play d&d anyway?

I can't say how many parents actually think this way, but imo I would give my kid some high end stuff just to numb them to it and learn what it's really worth, and what to make of people that put too much weight into it.

I've (accidentally?) had my fair share of stuff that came at times where quite frankly, I'm not someone who's "supposed" to have it or be in some rare company (material wise). It has shaped how/when to value such things. Part of it is having something, the other half is how you exist with it.

This is dwelling into superficial matters, but it's very noticeable when someone has money, and when someone knows what they're doing with it regardless of how much. The latter is so attractive when that person is proficient.
