V in Cyberpunk has great voice acting

It's a small game, but I loved playing Jenny in Jenny LeClue Detectivu, she was really well written and I liked picking options that made her complex / flawed. Short but very well done (except the ending is a cliffhanger for a sequel idk is going to happen :/)

Out of the options, Mirror's Edge followed by the Metroid franchise. Possibly in general as well, since there's not a lot of other stuff jumping to mind. WET would probably top 10 (for favorites), despite the fact that the game had a lot of problems.

This obviously excludes character creation games, which would kinda be cheating and, tbh, many of my favorites include character creation.

never mind that the cast of females are in fact leads and the series has many leads.

team ninja long ago officially proclaimed Kasumi to be the main character and heroine of the series.

Also, what about games with a joint lead in which one is female(RE1), or a wide cast in which the primary story focus character is female (Soul Calibur), or in which the player is male but the actual story focus is on a female (FFX)?

I forgot about Heavenly Sword although, honestly, it would be an also-ran because while I liked the characters, setting, and story, the gameplay was kinda meh and got to be annoying at times. I would have loved to have seen a sequel, but supposed it didn't beat budget so it got canned.

Yea...it had sooooo much hype when it was announced for the PS3 back then...

And totally forgot about Parasite Eve (Aya Brea)...it had its flaws, but it was a very interesting SE title...I never got to finish it, so I might go back and play it someday...

And Fear Effect (Hana Tsu-Vachel) was a fun game as well (v3ry underrated)

Eh, maybe, but I really wanted to focus on games/series with the Female as the main 'Hero' or 'Poster Girl' of the Series/Game...like Dante (DMC) Mario (SMB) Ryu (SF) etc

RE series, many see a combo of Jill, Chris and Leon as the Poster People, Soul Calibur many see either Mitsurugi or Nightmare as the Poster People while Tidus was the Cover Boy for the FFX Box Art

While Ryu might be one of the series' mascots (and briefly a Capcom mascot), SF is really an ensemble and there's as much attention around Chun-Li as Ryu. In fact, Chun-Li is possibly the most iconic female fighting game character... and I'm kinda struggling to think who else might be in contention. SF is arguably the biggest fighting franchise, with its best-known rival being MK but MK's female roster has never had anybody as consistently large as Chun-Li (although Sonya might come closest?). After all, Chun-Li was big enough to get her own movie.

While the DOA franchise has a heavier female focus, it's never been as big of a title. Morrigan is pretty much the poster-girl for Darkstalkers (although that's still an ensemble), but that's never been huge. Tekken is an ensemble, and its focus can kinda vary but it's kinda favored the male characters.

The female lead that pops immediately to mind, however, is Estelle Bright from Trails in the Sky. Super well-written character that heads a colossal trilogy of games (though she's technically only MC for two of them).

Well, you can say that about all Fighting Games, but in the end, I'm pretty sure if you ask anybody (HC, Causals or even non-Gamers) about a SF character and I'm pretty sure 80-90% of ppl will say 'Ryu'...and again, he is usually the Poster Boy for pretty much all SF related games, Merch, etc...

I think you're vastly underestimating the amount of Chun-Li merch, including things given out as pre-order bonuses.

FF XIII of whats listed but probably Tales of Berseria overall. Havent played a large amount of female led games.

Sophie and arguably Taki are far more the protagonists than Mitsurugi. The only male who comes close is actually Seigfried. As for Tidus, while he's the player character, the story is entirely about Yuna and her journey and Tidus plays more of a supporting role on the whole. If he wasn't the player character there's no doubt Yuna would have been the main lead (And she is in X-2 anyways).
