I've seen a few videos of pigs and dogs being woken up by putting some tasty food next to their nose. Humans tho, iunno.

Yeah but theyre basically smell geniuses so that doesnt count. Dogs and pigs hunt things millions* of miles away with their noses

My mom burnt a chicken once and I was 100% woken up by the smell. I don't know what the fuck she did but that was the worst smell I have ever endured and it lasted for like 2 weeks in the house. I still remember it, and even more so the smell of it mixed with all the orange air freshener we sprayed, which arguably made it worse.

To be fair though as well, I consider my sense of smell my "best" sense and the one I am by far the most attune to. I can smell the difference between every single soda, diet or not, smell what pizza came from what restaurant, and it is also my greatest sexual fetish so yeah not the average nose I guess

Yes and I've done it often, to both good and bad. Especially 'my dog had horrible diarrhea and pooped all over the front door mat' smells. And then after cleaning it, taking doggo out, I went back to bed.
