well, outside of Covid.

I like playing backgammon and don't really have someone to play that much so I figured, why not people at a nursing home. I know when I was living with my Uncle in a small town all visitors needed to be preapproved and tied to a resident. But that was a small town, so I am not sure.

Right now relatives can't even get into nursing homes to visit their family members =x

Otherwise I know at least some have recreation programs and I imagine that they'd be open to volunteers, but something like that probably won't be available for at least four or five years because of COVID concerns. We're at least two to three years out on getting COVID completely under control, and there will likely be at least a second vaccine next year to cover some variants.
