What is the scenario? A violent murderer who would murder again if not given capital punishment?

*shrugs*

Viewed this as just the trolley problem. More or less, if you know that killing one person will save some number of lives, how many does it take to push you to act?

I would assume you don't know any of the people being killed, that you just really either have to kill this one person, or some number of people will die.
