Its our last week doing hello fresh because I can barely move now



Sesame beef tacos with pickled cucumbers and radish. Topped with sriracha crema and cilantro. I added some ginger and onion powders to the meat and also topped with toasted sesame seeds, red pepper flakes and extra sriracha because the recipe seemed a bit too basic to me. I toasted tortillas in the pan too.

That looks excellent, not sure about the radish but otherwise would eat. You feel like Hello Fresh is worth the price overall? The wife and myself have considered something like this, or Blue Apron for a while but wasn't too sure about value and quality for the price.

Yeah the pickled radish was interesting but not overpowering and went well with the dish. I sliced them super thin and they had a more subtle flavor when paired with the cucumbers.

For us it was worth it. It came to about $60 for 3 meals a week for 2 people. So about $10 a person per meal. But I liked the convenience of not having to buy groceries or plan meals. I like getting enough ingredients that Im not scrambling to make something with the rest or throwing it away. Its very nice while in my third trimester and just generally insanely tired. Also it was very helpful because my husband is a typical macho dude who can barely fry an egg. But hes able to easily pick a step and help me make these when I need it. I will say that a lot of the ingredients are used over and over so the meals sometimes feel a bit repetitive. Also cheaper than doordash which I was resorting to almost daily. Again because my husband cant cook and I was too tired. So it might not make as much sense for others who cook a lot and meal plan well.

You can always try one of those codes for $80 off and see if it works for a couple of weeks.

Theres a lot of meat actually. Just hidden by the toppings. I got full eating 2 of them. My husband had 4 lol. According to the recipe card, theyre about 800 calories for 3.
