"We fully endorse Senator Sanders' efforts to reduce income inequality with legislation to increase the federal minimum wage to $15 an hour for all workers, like we did for ours in 2018," the spokesperson told CNN.

The whole $15/hr thing has been a talking point for at least 20 years. If Amazon did it in 2018 it's only because with inflation and rising cost of living, it's finally at the point where $15/hr today equals the $5.25/hr. it was back when people started pushing for it, lol. That, and working at Amazon is the labor equivalent of working like 3 jobs somewhere else.

But seriously the whole $15/hr thing is so old we should be talking about $45/hr. at this point.
