I do use my signals, but the thing is when I hit the left blinker in my VW the horn goes off also.

I hate the people who signal while turning or right as the light changes more than people who dont signal for some reason. Also, if they do the above/dont signal when Im crossing the street then I dont take my damn time (even more so if they do dumb shit like make illegal turns). If they do signal, then I give them a little wave thanks and jog across.

Where do you live? I keep hearing stories like that as if some places have a toxic driving culture. Where I'm from, drivers are mostly courteous

Personally, if I see someone using a turn signal then I will make sure they can easily get in, while if I'm in a bad mood and predict that someone not using a signal will want to get over, I'll block the non-signaller. >_>

When I took a defensive driving class like ten years ago there was a lady who was there because she used her blinkers offensively.

Apparently when she wanted to change lanes to the left she would signal right to throw off the other drivers. And vice versa.

The cop behind her that time didnt care for that explanation.

That reminds me when I saw the most hilarious shit happen. At the main post office where I live, the parking lot has an entrance and an exit, both one way. Yet time after time I see people going the wrong way into or out of the lot. But one glorious day, a guy both exited the wrong way and made a left turn on red, right in front of a cop who immediately turned on his sirens and pulled him over XD
