Growing up in the suburbs in Colorado the Wal-Mart greeters were disabled people that just waved at you on your way out. When I was stationed at Fort Gordon in Augusta GA the Wal-Mart had these giant guys that looked like bouncers that were checking every receipt.

I guess you could refuse to show your receipt but if they grab you and you are actually shoplifting I don't think that you would have a very nice time in the courts down there.

No idea what you are talking about. Literally every other store let's you walk out without that check. It's a bad policy and a good employee wouldn't bother the customers. Pretty simple stuff.

No a good employee does what they're told. Also it is a bad policy and its an awkward situation for the employees who are very rarely dicks about it. So take 10 seconds to show the receipt. It costs you nothing. You're making an issue out of fuck all and acting like ignoring the employees basic request is somehow making a point like management gives a fuck or are gonna change.

Ask for the manager next time Karen.

Working for walmart in the past, I can tell you it barely stops shoplifting.

Most aren't walking out the door with it in their cart

They steal shit by taking it out the package and stuff it in their pockets.

One time I went to Wal-Mart so I could sneak snacks into the movies.

And I grabbed a back and put it inside my jacket to see how it would look.
the security guard look at me and said "don't even think about it."
and I had to explain to him that I was just checking how it would look.
I don't think he bought that story
