Walmart is bigger and cheaper, and they have all the same shit. Target also charges you an extra 5% or whatever unless you own their credit card.

Couldn't agree more. Wal mart absolutely disgusts me. The stores are filthy and decrepit, the employees all look about a week away from suicide, and the customers are the most disgusting collection of hobgoblins, criminals and trailer park trash.

But hey, if saving a few bucks is that important more power to ya, im just not trying to catch hantavirus or a bullet because I needed milk. I'll pay 7 cents more for that.

Because I have two Walmarts that are closer than the closest Target. In fact if you combined the distance to both of those Walmarts it would still be closer.

Because the nearest Target is half an hour away and I can see the Walmart parking lot from my back porch. Also, Target does average out to be slightly more expensive.

I shop at both, but Wal-Mart is closer to where I live

There's a wal mart 10 miles from me and a Target 40 miles. I merrily make that extra 30 mile trip to avoid wal mart, respect yourself man!

I do, which is why I spend that time and effort that it would take to not go to the Walmart that is right next to my house on more worthwhile things than going to Target instead.

I was walking out of Walmart with deodorant and tums while clearly holding my receipt and they still stopped me and asked to look at it. Fuck that.

And there's someone always blocking your way because the store is always over crowded and they put pallets with shit in the aisles.

I do prefer Target to Walmart, but here the nearest Target is an hour away and Walmart is like a 5 minute drive. Our Walmart is pretty junky though. Their electronic section is a joke, you have to wait about 20 minutes for service and half the time they don't actually have the items they have on display. Speaking of waiting Lord help you if you have to use a normal checkout. All the self checkout are always tied up and they have one checker working at any given time.

I will go to both for different things. However, I find that at the Target where I frequent, some isles / departments have lots of incorrect price tags for their merchandise or will even have incorrect description labels, and it happens often. I'm sure it varies by location though, and I've seen some Wal-Marts do this as well, just not at the ones that are close to where I live.

I can walk to Wal-Mart easily, yet Target is 4 miles away with no sidewalks.

Also, Target's prices are total shit for Coca-Cola, Doritos, etc.

I shop at both.

Target is just Wal-Mart reskinned for suburban white wino moms.
The products aren't that much better, the company is just as shitty to its employees, and I experienced more racism at Target than any place I've ever worked.

I vastly prefer target but ultimately just go wherever is more convenient, for the most part.

I don't go to either regularly - but I'd prefer to support Wal-Mart, because as shitty as they are they're still not Target shitty.
