Purely from a shallow, aesthetics side of me, I think most women peak at 22 to 24.

Can still be gorgeous after that, but I can't think of many girls who were even prettier at any other time in their lives than they were at those ages

mid 20s? that early?

40 seems to be the most accurate answer IMO. Lots of people still look great through their 30s, but over you hit 40, you enter the phase of "hot for your age".

Starts to slide down after 35 if they don't take care of themselves (goes for guys too)

this is shallow as hell but it's a shallow question so 25-27 for the ones who are naturally pretty. I hate it but it's unfortunately true.

now, there are some women who have a baby face and look better around 30 than they did when they were younger. usually they put effort into their appearance, though. this applies almost always to east Asian women whereas the above applies to white women.

This is what I've observed. I feel gross now.

What both of you said was wrong, no gender ages better than the other. The reason for the large age gaps sometimes between man and woman is that both genders have different things they're superficial about. For men, they're superficial about looks and youth. For woman, they're superficial about money and security (which most older men tend to have vs. younger men).
