Highly recommend if you are into competitive games and/or fancy yourself a high IQ. The learning process of Dota 2 is actually what makes it so engaging. You feel yourself getting better, and the fact nothing of value is locked behind a paywall just puts an emphasis on gameplay that's lacking in other MOBAs.

The new show on Netflix about Dota 2 is pretty good as well. And if you've never seen "Free to Play", it's a great look at the beginning of Esports.
