That doesn't mean they shouldn't do it, but without simultaneously passing comprehensive reforms around the way the financing of higher education operates it is a temporary fix at best. If your reason for not wanting college debt-relief and college financing reform is because you paid your debt already and it isn't fair then you are just short-sighted and selfish.
