Mexicans aren't really hurting like that unless you're illegal, but that's the risk you take when you try to cross that border. Hopefully they find a way to sort that business.

a lot of Hispanic people face discrimination, are told to "go back", etc., regardless of whether they were born in the US, became a naturalized citizen, or are a US resident

this thought crossed my mind but I didnt say anything because it could be misinterpreted.

anti-Hispanic hate crimes soared under Trump, and shootings like the pulse nightclub and some sort of Texas farmers market shooting targeted Hispanics but nobody truly talked about it, the first time it was acknowledged was after El Paso just because the guy said it loud and clear.

either way, the idea is that everyone should oppose hate crimes against anyone, doesnt matter the race. Right now the focus should be in anti-Asian hate, and knowing racists they will go through their cycle and target some other race in a few years, and everyone should once again band together and denounce that too

I'm Mexican/Salvadoran. You know everybody means mexicans for the most part on this issue, you hardly see Dominicans, trini's, columbiano's etc being the face of it although it's true there's more to Hispanics than mexicans

But if you tryna be offended at that after making a poorly thought out topic like this have at it mijo

We can discriminate. I've often said that old Hispanics are actually really racist against other ethnicities, something I've argued a lot of times with those same people

I mention my ethnicity because it qualifies me to speak on the shit seeing as that is my life, knowing, living, and working with illegals or legitimate citizens who bear the brunt of these racist perceptions, myself included (and yes there has been a marked rise in racial tensions with trump)

However, I find your whining about it being "our turn" silly and childish mainly for the reason that SPE briefly mentioned, that is that we should denounce racism in all it's forms no matter which group it is against. This isn't exactly a game, and transactional considerations when it comes to racial hate only serves to foment more division - "I never saw a Hispanic give af about black or Asian lives so fuck them", applied in every sort of ethnic instance does a lot of harm in the short and long terms.

If you care, and I mean really care, start posting those cases you feel don't get enough attention yourself then.
