My hair is pretty long/super thiccc.

I think I finally have enough to sweep the sides back, but it also sticks out too much.



these are all pretty good length on the sides, short is what Im used to.

The hair style you want basically screams try hard/neo-Nazi to me. I'm not saying this applies to you. I actually think the style is nice. But I've never not met someone sporting the style that wasn't a mega douche or wannabe Nazi.

yeah I dont wanna get a bald fade for this reason. Want to leave a little something on the sides to prevent that.

Thats a dominate cowlick. Tbh it should have been left longer for it to be styled. Cutting that part shorter wont do the cut any favors in this case

Have you let it grow out for at least a month? I used to think I couldnt grow one either because I would shave it off after 2 weeks, thinking Well this looks horrible. Then when the pandemic started, I just let it grow and realized I simply wasnt giving it enough time.

That was my issue. Theres a phase of growing it out where it just looks sloppy. Couldnt really do it right because of work, but when we were in lockdown, it allowed me the time to properly do it.
