So as far as I can remember it was always the Godzilla was basically the results of all of the nuclear experiments and testing during the cold war and it mutated some creature and turned them into this giant lizard obviously a social commentary on the dangers of nuclear proliferation.
But the modern movies all have the stupid like ancient origin where he comes from the center of the earth along with King Kong and all these other creatures like he wasnt created from nuclear war just like this ancient crypto zoological crap. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Because Toei started toning down the nuclear tests references in 2011 after the Fukushima incident, and it's extended to the Legendary films as well.
