Very likely.

Possibly. The biggest question will be for how long? Cant go setting around an actual precedent for police to actually behave like adults doing their job.

I mean, he absolutely should go away for the rest of his life. He won't though. The jury will either find him not guilty (which will essentially mean open season on black people for cops) or they'll have a hung jury.
