Honestly, it wasn't bad at all. What they say about it being a dry heat is true. I feel like there have been 80 degree days back home that felt MUCH hotter due to humidity.

I lived in the Inland Empire CA and it wasn't the general heat so much as the sun. The sun hit different in the valley than near the coast. Just felt way more intense but if you could get into the shade it wasn't half as bad.

It's not noticeably bad til you top 105 or so.

90 and up is hot but it feels much better than say, 90 somewhere humid.

I've lived in Phoenix my whole life. The heat isn't that bad, but when you have 110+ days for two or three months it will get very draining and you'll be happy when it ends. Getting in your car and it's literally an oven gets old pretty fast. Not being able to do anything outside isn't fun either.

Bruh the summer I lived in Phoenix, it hit 115 every day, and nights were still like 90. Wtf.

90 at night feels nice though from what I've seen anyway. We're just getting into the summer heat though. And the winters here are amazing. It's basically the same weather as winters in California minus the humidity.

Our governor already banned mask mandates statewide. Businesses can still require them, but cities and counties cannot.

I fucking hate Phoenix. I had a midnight flight and had to kill a day there. It was 110 degrees that day. It was hell. People say it's not bad because it's a dry heat but that's bs.

I've never been there, but I've been to New York during 107 degree record heatwave with 76% humidity, New Orleans in March, and Mississippi in March many years ago. I'll pass on all three and stay here in Arizona lol.

Yeah.

In the summer people generally make a mad dash from their air conditioned car to their air conditioned workplace. And if they're out, they're swimming. Swimming is maybe the one saving grace.

And that heat lasts from June to October, with a few random days of showers to cool things down.

The hot locations at their worst that I have ever been to were.

1. Qatar: Simply too hot.
2. Houston: Beyond humid and horrible pollution makes it miserable.
3. Georgia. Humid as fuck.
4. Wichita Falls. the huge air gusts in addition to the summer heat has a special type of horrible feel.

The thing i hated about being in Arizona is that your heat is like all day.

At least in San Diego i get coastal breezes that bring it down

Sometimes in the heat of summer. I remember taking my gf to Mission Bay once and it was legit like 90 and sticky just like where I grew up in upstate NY. But really it wasn't a common occurrence.

Idk where this is coming from lol. It gets like 90%+ humidity here all the time. Its just not as bad as other places because of the ocean breezes
