I got a bowl from subway today and the plastic lid formed a hole in the center. The food wasn't even that hot.

I also got takeout from two different japanese restaurants and both containers formed holes in them very quickly.

I found that strange since they say on the bottom that they are microwavable. I didn't even microwave any of them.

I'm not running into that issue, but I can very much see restaurants cheaping out because a much larger percentage of their business is take out.
