Because I purchased the Air Realty Rights to your zone first: you, your kids, your grandkids, and society in perpetuity is not allowed to ever purchase those rights back because someone 700 years ago in England decided property rights are actually what create human rights. Other Air Lords purchase similar rights internationally, driving up the cost to free oxygen worldwide beyond the reach of 60+% of the population. You lose your job.
