Yeah I went the second week it was open! It's fun. There's a bit more gamification to it than the Santa Fe one. Like, you'll get your "employee card" and there's a set list of tasks/achievements you can do that help you to uncover the story. What time did you get your tickets for? I got mine for early in the day and definitely am happy I did so. It got pretty crowded by mid-afternoon, which made immersing yourself in the story a bit more difficult because instead of browsing through a computer's files at your leisure, you're pressured to move quickly because there's multiple people waiting to use it. Thankfully the "employee card" system allows you to "save" most virtual files, so anything I "saved" I can access at home with my card number, which relieves some of the pressure of going through all the written content. I was pretty thorough, so I think I got almost everything, but I want to go back with some friends sometime.

I've been keeping an eye on progress of the Denver one too, they recently gave a little tour of the interior and it's shaping up to be really cool. It's got a multi-colored glass cathedral. I don't think it will be open before I move to Japan, but if it does I'll definitely take a trek out to see it. If not, it'll be one of the first things I do when I come back to the States.

I think theyre for 11am so hopefully thats early enough. I think the overall concept of the omega mart seems way more interesting than the one in Santa Fe and I still thought that one was incredible so Im super excited. Is there a story to piece together like at the Santa Fe one?

11am is what I did too, so you'll be good. Yeah, the concept allows for a lot of fun little products too. I got some Gender Fluid beverage and Ogre Poop candy while I was there. There is a story, yes. You actually play a more hands on role in part of the story too if you want, since the employee card allows for a greater level of interaction with the environment, but it's not required to uncover the core story. With the employee card part there's a slight attempt at a branching narrative too, but you can easily see both sides and not miss out on any content.

I have strong suspicions that the narrative of Omega Mart may connect in some ways to House of Eternal Return, because at Omega Mart I found a flyer for a yoga retreat that was being held by (I think) one of the House of Eternal Return characters. But I couldn't find any more solid connections. I'm hoping as it becomes more popular the Reddit becomes more active, because there really is a lot of story and art and content that could be discussed and analyzed.
