The last band I was almost completely oblivious to that I learned that I loved was Jamiroquai. Theyre much more than just the Napoleon Dynamite song guys.

Babymetal. I sort of stumbled across them by accident and ended up really liking them.

Megadeth

I've known about them for years but I didn't get into them properly until just recently because now I'm old enough to know that it's not actually illegal to like both Megadeth and Metallica

Archspire

Youtube recommended one of the guitar players videos, he has his own channel where he streams sometimes and whatnot. Caught a couple of rehearsal streams, and some riffs/songs stayed with me because I caught myself humming the riffs all day.
They have some really catchy stuff for being a technical death metal band.

Couple of months later, they're one of my favorite bands. Their albums are pretty much flawless.

Youtube can be cool sometimes.
