How about the second shot? I got my first shot today but have no side effects except for a kinda sore arm at the area they put the needle in but just curious about other people's reaction to the shot. I'm kinda scared of getting the second shot cause I heard people getting severe symptoms.

First shot was some strong soreness right in the muscle it was shot into for about a day and a half or so.

Second shot was the same soreness, but with some added exhaustion and joint pain (elbows, wrists, ankles, knees, neck, shoulders) but none of it was especially bad.

I got a headache with both shots, but it went away quickly when I drank enough water. Drink more than you think you'll need.

I had a sore arm for a couple days from both shots. I had some minor lightheadedness shortly after and a couple more times in the hours after the first shot, could have just been psychosomatic though cause I worry about my health to an unhealthy degree and everything :(
Also switching between chills and fever a couple times the day after the second shot.

My doctor was telling me to drink a shit ton of water before i get mine. Also, to avoid hot showers after the 2nd one because i guess the hot water makes blood rush to your head and it was making people feel faint

Probably should have followed the water advice myself. First shot of Pfizer gave me a pretty bad sore throat for about a week. I also had a very very light cough for 2 days.

Haven't had my second yet, but the first shot was just some arm soreness.

There might be some other soreness but it's hard to tell because I've got a kidney stone in trying to pass and that pain makes everything seem non-existent.

2nd shot on the 28th

First shot just a sore arm and some vague light headache that persisted for a day. However I didn't have any Tylenol to take and just ibuprofen and I was told not to take ibuprofen unless desperate.

I got a little fatigue and some pretty bad arm soreness after the first shot, but not enough to warrant using Tylenol.

I felt awful for two days after the second shot. I had a headache so bad I barely slept the first night, plus big fatigue, some queasiness, and alternating between chills and fever. Oddly, the arm pain was minimal the second time.

That being said, I have zero regrets. As much as I complain about the side effects, I dare say its better than having COVID, and certainly better than being at risk of being a plague rat.

Edit: Oh yeah, and my parents got their first shots, and the only side effects they had was a little arm soreness. Lucky them.

My mind was like mush. I could not think right. You guys know I writer horribly. But it was even worse. It was like it took my disability and made it 100 times work. I just couldn't think well at all.

I was lucky I took at a time where I had a few days off. If not I could not would have been in trouble .

First in Jan and second in Feb.

First one. No problems. Arm got more sore than a flu but not a major problem.

Second one. Arm got sore. Night of, felt slightly sick to my stomach. Chills came for around an hour but I never had a fever. I was fine the next day.

First dose experienced arm soreness about 6 hours after administering, lasted for 36 hours.

Second dose I felt feverish and lightheaded and a pounding headache about a whole 24 hours after administering, lasted for 24 hours. I don't get headaches nor have had a fever since I was a teenager so it really kicked my ass.

First dose: Sore arm later in the evening, gone by next morning.

Second dose: Sore arm later in the evening, gone by next morning. I also had very minor body aches the next morning (similar to how you'd feel when you're barely starting to get sick with a cold or whatever), but the body aches were gone by the afternoon.

Nothing else. I'm also type 1 diabetic.
