People only associate with their family members and immediate social circle

Social circles arent exactly welcoming either

They typically dont accept new members (past the time of formation), except hot chicks

And social circles are secret societies, where no one knows of their existence except the inner circle

Americans and other Westerners used to actually have large communities where people did interact with each other - churches. Neighbors also used to know each other and have BBQs and block parties - thats dead

There needs to be a non-religious version of church formed

If you aren't in their clique, you better hope they take a liking to you for some reason, regardless if it is mutual, or just to your benefit or theirs, otherwise keep your distance, or if you're passing through, better get going. Anyway, I'm tired of having ignorant / bigoted jackasses making me feel like I need their approval to go about my life despite me just literally minding my own business. Fuck 'em, these folks just want a echo chamber to stew in their hateful vitriol so they can endoctrinate and create more cultist hicks.

There is some truth to that... the communal void due to the loss of religion (for better or worse). Or literally why people value each other and life

You do bring up an interesting point and I'm curious to see if there's any reasoning behind why that happens. People form bonds over common interests all the time but even then multiple social circles can form within the same community and what was a common interest shared by 100 people or so is now shared by small groups of 10 or 20 within that group of 100.
