I'm not avoiding it and I even responded to somebody else in the thread saying that. But you're denying reality if you think punching up is the same as punching down. Systemic racism against black people exists. It doesn't exist against whites in the United States. I'm sure it exists somewhere, but reddit is largely a USA based/Western website.

I think it was how Coca-Cola had an online training slideshow thing where one of the slides encouraged people to try and "be less white", a phrase which they defined as "to be less oppressive, arrogant, ignorant, and certain".
Though Coca-Cola is a prime example of playing both sides, where they have shit like that, and then immediately turn around and donate over $30k to the politicians supporting that voter suppression bill in Georgia.

Yes, he's made token admissions in short statements well after it's become bad publicity for him and often with a huge "but whatabout" in most cases.
But then again, you're the most oppressed person on this site because everyone is so racist against white people. It's not like you even went to those subreddits at all.

You were literally trying to justify racism against a certain group of people. If your intent was saying that racism is bad. It's not our comprehension that's bad, it's your lack of communication skills.

Acknowledging nuance does not equate to justifying. The first thing I said literally was "bigotry carries similar implications", and given I framed it as bad towards black people, it should be clear I view it as bad towards white people, especially when I say the admins should remove that anti-white content.

You're just upset the nuance exists because you know you can't deny that systemic racism exists or else you'd get hit with like 30 studies demonstrating it does, lol.

I did, which is why the speech is so weird. He references that fine people were there to protest the removal of the Confederate statue before the big day rally, but that would have to mean he's referencing the night prior. You know, the tiki torch march of "JEWS WILL NOT REPLACE US" and "BLACK LIVES SPLATTER" and "BLOOD & SOIL" and what not.

It infers that, at any point, the groups there defending the statue weren't white supremacists. That's wrong, so it's weird he denounced them and simultaneously called them fine people.

No, I wouldn't. Getting upset at satire is ridiculous. I really feel like you and several others that somehow see this as "defending racism" need to actually look at the reddits the guys is complaining about. A lot of the posts are like "Look at this guy saying something racist, let's all laugh at his stupidity" and not just blatantly hating white people.
