Used to, but since Trump did such a good job, we've quickly shifted to only teaching his presidency because it was the only good one

I was taught as a child. But that was over 15 years ago. I still have two books that detail all them from my grandfather.

We saw a list somewhere, but I doubt most Americans know much beyond recent ones and the ones on money

Yeah there's a little song, same with the states

They also teach us that the US is the envy of the world and has never lost a war

I was taught the presidents back in 5th grade (Reagan was president at the time) - we got up to Herbert Hoover before the class had to switch over to something else.

As a GenX, we were taught in maybe 5th or 6th grade. Which would have been Reagan as the last. Ford getting shot at by a Manson member is my earliest presidential memory.

As a grad student in PoliSci, I used to teach the presidents to people studying for the citizenship exam.

The only presidents people remember are the recent ones, the ones that got shot, and the ones they don't like.

I feel like we touch on all of them on our US history courses at least once. But there's a lot of them that were unmemorable. Not that they did a bad job, but just nothing extraordinary.
