I cant stand it. Im actually thinking of installing a yellow chain to hang across my front walkway to basically tell people not to knock. I have a No Soliciting sign directly on my front door and as soon as the snow is melted, the doorbell rings all day.

I grew up in a place where door to door knocking was often times a person from a fake company scoping out houses for home invasions, so I get sort of nervous about strangers knocking. I actually really dislike when anyone shows up unannounced, even friends.

I hate but I live in an apartment where no one can enter the main building without a key so no one can knock on any apt doors
