Seems relatively accurate, though the fact that it lists some units only with constellations muddies things up a bit (nobody except space whales have a C6 Childe). And honestly, it's probably better to have individual tier lists for each role instead of listing every character only once. I like the below format more even if this one is outdated, tiny, and in Chinese.

I mean, they're working on the stuff I mentioned (plus events, bugfixes, and new character/story chapters) in between working on bigger content. It's very "games as a service" unfortunately so they're prioritizing keeping a steady stream of smaller stuff to try and keep people playing consistently.

The amount of content they're putting out doesn't really match the amount of money they're raking in but I don't think that's uncommon. You can't just double the size of a dev team and expect to maintain the same level of quality. I hope they pick up the pace a bit but it'll probably take awhile even in the best case scenario.

What I do wish is that they'd stop being so stingy with Primogems now that the game has proven to be very profitable. Enough for only one 5* character per 42-day patch period (and that's if you're buying both passes -and- maxing Abyss on top) is ridiculous. And that's not even enough to guarantee a rateup 5*, you can only do that every other patch period.

I just checked the kit of the first Inazuma char, Kiryu Kazuha.

At C6 he seems to be a beast, spending 100% of his playtime in anemo infusion with a powerful elemastery-based damage buff. Some of his utility is locked in constellations too.

At C0, he's basically an inferior version of Xiao + C6 Sucrose, buffing the team's elemental damage with elemastery scaling and spamming updraft+ anemo gravity pull plunge?

I feel you're forced to choose, either you make his dps bad and spec him into giving out large elemental damage buffs, or you spec crits but miss out on his elemastery scaling (which cant crit).

His gravity pull hijinx will be fun regardless.

Kiiiiiind of.
Like, Tartaglia is still amazing even at C0, but can't be the lone main dps until C6 coz of long cooldowns. If you want him for a pyro+hydro dual main dps team, he'll be great.
Noelle is terrible at C0, but is a monster at C6 (which is easy to get) and is easy to gear up through "trash artifacts".

What I can say for sure, that site gives out bad gear recommendations for each char.

People beat around the bush about this, but the fact of the matter is that there is literally no reason to use a dedicated healer when you have characters like Bennett, Noelle, Jean and Diona who have other benefits on top of just healing.

Eh, most fone games stop you from progressing through content too quickly. I'm not huge on Resin but I don't care too much, especially now that I'm basically at endgame after playing 4.5 months so I'm not in a rush to get anything. Though they've been adding stuff to make it easier (Fragile Resin with Battle Pass, 1.5 is making Weekly Bosses cost less). And apparently housing will have some Resin regeneration functionality too, I think? Which is good, systems like that should always tie back into normal gameplay somehow rather than being just purely decorational.

I'm still annoyed that I have over 25k Furniture Parts in Arknights that have no real use except decorating a part of the game that I never look at lol

Genshin has too many F2P mechanics that are all limited in some way by the resin system, and ultimately it threatens to make the games not worth playing. I actually, actively, don't want to pull for weapons because I don't want to waste all my money, resin, and resources leveling up more weapons. The same thing is also applying to characters at this point. Talents and levels and gear - it takes weeks to build a character to be usefully playable.

From what I read player housing will also have mat generation in the form of gardens and such.

I just want a decent crab farm so I don't have to do the annoying 2 spots every day. Fish isn't bad though, there's enough of them in the wild and they're easy to catch.

I'm at the other end, where I won't pull for weapons because I'm afraid I'll pull stuff that's worthless to me. I'm sitting on over 2000 mystic enhancement stones so leveling weapons isn't an issue, but there isn't a whole lot of point in actively trying to pull 5-star weapons yet. Maybe after I pull another 5-star character or two?

I think it's kinda silly that they have three banners, and all the incentive is to pull on the character rate-up banner because the weapon banner is a total trap and the standard banner has way too many different ways to suck your primos up with nothing of value gained.

On a separate note, I'm debating whether or not to buy an Amber constellation in the store. I know it's foolish, but I still think it's funny showing up for co-op domains with Amber. Would be even funnier if she actually did some damage. The Amos Bow is nearly maxed as-is...

As an aside, I also find it irritating that they treat the 5 (or 25 if 5 star) starglitter for pulling a character after C6 as being "generous" when in reality it wastes your pity pull.

If they actually wanted to be generous, they would take that character out of your pull pool.

That tier list is for speed clearing abyss with 36 stars which Noelle isn't great at. It's written by chinese whales for chinese whales and not a general indication of character worth.

Explains why they put C6 Tartaglia in there, despite the fact that most theorycrafters agree that he's actually better prior to C4 so that you don't screw up vaporize synergy.

EM only affects swirl Damage. Also during his burst he applies the element so fast that he never triggers the reaction so it never uses his EM. The exception to this is electro charged which doesn't immediately wipe the element so he can reapply it and react forcing the electrocharged to use his EM instead of the ones used by your hydro/Electro characters.

Essentially Venti just attacks too fast to make effective use of EM. It could work out differently if you have someone who attacks even faster than Venti like Xingqiu.

I can't imagine pulling for weapons as a F2P anyways because you have so little rolls available in the first place

but yeah, I will say that there are too many resources gated behind the paid Battle Pass and if you're not shelling out then you're going to have to spend a ton of extra Resin to make up for it. Paid BP giving 3x what you earn normally is a little silly.

I've said this to other people before but it feels like Genshin was designed with you getting both paid passes as the baseline. If you don't get BP you're going to have to spend a lot more Resin/time grinding for upgrade resources, if you don't get Welkin you have a lot less rolls to play with.

It doesn't matter even if you want to whale you're limited to 6 resin refreshes a day. There's no way to buy fragile resin for money so that's not an option. There's weekly packs you can buy but those are still once a week. The only thing in unlimited supply for those with a bottomless bank account is Mora.

Honestly, unless they come up with a system to more quickly raise freshly-obtained characters to playable levels / talent levels, they're going to run into a scenario where most players will avoid paying for the gacha system as they won't even have the resources to level them up while also improving their main teams.

Her synergy with Childe is un-freaking-real. Turns Childe into a single target obliterator on top of his incredible AOE dps.

I have R5 Stringless equipped, but I am in the process of leveling up R5 Alley Hunter.

Both Zhongli and Eula are good options. If the leaks are correct Eula's banner should have a pretty good 4* lineup. Couldn't hurt to roll unless you really want Klee or Kazuha, who are rumored to be in 1.6
