Use Amber. I don't think there a time limit on the character reward anyway so there's no rush.

Yeah that happened to me with a glad flower. ATT% CR CD and EM. Rolled into EM every time.

To be fair, after a certain point and depending on what character you're playing as EM is really powerful. Crit Rate is better obviously, but EM definitely outweighs atk% up to a certain point since it boosts your reaction damage significantly. My Hu Tao with a over 120 EM hits harder then if I stacked more crit damage or HP on vaporize procs.

EM is amazing but only if your team comps are built around it.

Also, Crit Rate and Crit DMG being separate stats is stupid AF.

You can have 100% crit rate but all your crits do the same damage as normal attacks.

I guess, but I have no one to use it on. I was insanely lucky while prebuilding for Hu. Basically every piece ended up rolling CR/CD/HP.

I think she's at 80%CR 210%CD

Here's a few examples of what you can do with EM (just the sucrose parts)

Note that for this specific situation Sucrose out damages Venti but Venti provides a lot of other things besides damage that are generally useful.

There's an alternative version of that team that uses Tartaglia instead that does a lot more damage.

80 EM translates to about 15% more vaporize / melt damage. I'd say it's definitely useful for Hu Tao.

Yeah and I pair her with albedo for my tryhard team so that's a extra 125? EM also. I hear 300 EM is a good sweet spot for your main DPS if you can get it.

The person causing the reaction is the one that needs EM. Characters like Fischl, Xiangling, or Rosaria are good candidates for this.

Yeah she's the one causing them with Xingqiu. I'm contemplating what I want to use on my fischl now that I actually might build her. I'm thinking Alley Hunter and throwing my spare skyward harp on Venti or something.

Xingqiu swords are technically applying Wet, and then Diluc is the one triggering Vaporize, which means Diluc is the one that needs EM, correct?

In the case of Fischl and Childe, isn't it Childe that is actually the one triggering the reactions due to his attack speed?

Yes. Xingqiu is one of the fastest attacking characters. His swords often hit before the character attack does.

Fischl and Childe is a different case because electro charged doesn't remove automatically / consume the element. I think you'll want EM on Childe.

Childe is such a weird character in terms of stat scaling and elemental reactions.

Every once and a while when I use his Ult in ranged mode (it's actually really good, and refunds 20 energy when you use it) it'll go completely HAM and do like 30k+ AOE damage while also applying Riptide.

But I honestly don't know what's causing it or how to make it happen more often.

I was having so much trouble with Floor 12 until I found out that my ****ing Klee of all people can endlessly knock over the Geovishaps with charged attacks. It's actually hilarious.

Ok so I talked up Childe but Venti is just freaking broken he's so good.

As far as I know, he's literally the only character in the game who is still s tier even at level one with no gear equipped

Yeah, that doesn't work for me. I built him to 80/90 on talk alone and tried him out, did his burst and it didn't kill everyone, let alone any significant damage.

He has good artifacts too.

You're supposed to mix it with a DPS character. Diluc-ing the vortex with a phoenix while characters are in it will OHKO almost any enemy in the game.

I don't know I'll try him again later i guess. I don't do abyss so I don't need perfect teams.

I'll stick with my Hu Tao Rosaria Xingqiu Jean team for now.

Honestly, Venti can literally solo the abyss with max stars until it requires two teams, and can solo the rest of the normal floors on his side.

He is arguably the most important character to have overall to complete the abyss, and guides literally are designed to give Abyss advice specifically to people that don't have Venti.
