OK let's say ALL religious structures fall spontaneously overnight. What's the logical conclusion to make? Well the logical conclusion is either that god exists but none of the religions were correct about him or that a 'great evil' is coming and whatever god did exist is no longer real to 'protect' us. Either way what do people do? They panic. Many people kill themselves as 'sacrifice' and those who don't witness the downfall of society. Anarchy the way morality didn't exist and everyone was thinking about themselves and themselves only. Science dies and humans go extinct in maybe a decade or less

I know that CE has a major hate boner for religion, but in addition to countless people losing their jobs, you would also be damaging or destroying tons of buildings that aren't strictly for worship. The biggest church here in Hawaii has their main service in the auditorium of a high school. My church has a preschool, and holds their Easter service in the Japanese Cultural Center. Not to mention how a lot of temples are gigantic tourist attractions in places like Japan.

And that's not even factoring in collateral damage.

A planet wide destruction of just religious sites is much much more destructive over the long term than a world war, not because of what it destroys but because of what it means for humanity as a whole. Societal and economic collapse is not just a possibility, it's a certainty. There won't be anyone to talk about the event because humanity would go extinct in less than a generation like I said in my previous post

Those that do in these cases might have read the bible or at least some of it or maybe even multiple religious books and whether or not they believed, or had or even have or had faith typically either wrote it off for not fitting their political agenda, or even try and use it to argue against religion. A lot of them tend to be agnostic or even atheist and that life is a simulation instead. Some even going ahead and saying things like a lot of new (and old) scientific studies have shown that it is probable that the life we live in was created by a God or some entity but that just don't see any proof

So, No, I wouldn't. For any amount of money. The world has over 2 billion Christians and almost as many Muslims around 1.8. Then hinduism at 1.1 or more billion and Buddhism at 500+ million and so on. Something like 85 So many of you want to condemn most of the world for your greed? For that little in comparison?

You're wishing to destroying hundreds of billions to trillions times the amount you'd get or more worth of stuff and killing and injuring hundreds of millions to (very likely) billions of people. Alll because you are either INSANELY greedy with no or little dignity or world view. Like, holy shit.

Millions to billions of people and all of the history, let alone almost every major hospital and a possible ice age for all people do to all the people, plus, taking a huge step back in covid if not is worth the money?

It seems like most people think this would only take out churches here and there and kill anyone who's unlucky enough to be at church, temple, or mosque during the event, plus maybe kill off some places like the vatican and probably kill off whoever or whatever in the middle east, plus wherever a chapel is in a hospital maybe a small room here and there that you haven't seen before or what. Then two weeks to two months later the world would somehow just, return to normal.

Most of the chapels in hospitals alone full on collapsing would probably take out almost every major hospital in the US alone to even start.

No thanks. Too damaging for literally the majority of people, and would mean destroying historical, cultural and just plain impressive architecture.
